DREISEITEL (illustr.): Gelb-Rot. Nachrichten der „Shell-Floridsdorf“ [Yellow-Red. News from „Shell-Floridsdorf“]. May and June 1931. Edited by A. G. der Shell-Floridsdorfer Mineralöl-Fabrik. Cover design by Dreiseitel and with numerous reproductions of photographies, drawings and cartoons, partly as illustrated advertisements. Vienna: Steinsberg (Deutsche Vereins-Druckerei, Graz) 1931. 4to (31:23,5 cm). Pages [1 (front cover)], 2-9, [10 (last page)], 11, [12 (rear cover)]. Original publisher's saddle stitched brochure with multicolour pictorial cover.

Double issue for May and June 1931 of this company magazine for car drivers, published during the 1930s by the Austrian subsidiary of Royal Dutch Shell until the expropriation of their Vienna facilities by the Nazis in 1938.

The cover reproduces a multicolour drawing showing a Shell service station scene, elegantly drawn in Art Nouveau style. The original drawing is signed „Dr“, which is the monogram of „Dreiseitel“, an artist of which I could not find any further biographical trace of. Dreiseitel also designed posters for the company. Additionally this issue of the review »Gelb-Rot« is also profusely illustrated throughout.

Copy with traces of a former horizontal fold, cover in parts minimally creased and worn, otherwise solid copy of this magazine.
