Complete collection of AGFA's range of aniline dyes, here applied on hundreds of samples of smooth leather (skivers) and machine-mould paper.

Founded in 1873 early Agfa was specialised in aniline dyes for textiles and subsequently also for paper and on leather, before concentrating on the photochemical branch and becoming one of the inventors of colour photography for general use and a world market leader in this field. The samples are sized 4,2:1,8 cm (I) and 3:1,2 cm (III), tipped-on in equal arrangement and accompanied with explanatory denominations, also in English (II). »Färbungen auf Papier« also includes a booklet with tables bound in.

Covers in parts minimally worn, booklet of II with some tears, saddles rusty, otherwise well preserved, particularly rare leporelli.

According to WorldCat/OCLC, Google, KVK and viaLibri Librairies not a single copy of neither of the leporelli is in institutional holdings worldwide.
