Content: Present work contains 4421 positions mainly in Russian, but also in different foreign languages in the fields of geographical science, of expeditions, explorations and discoveries, of economic, historical, physical, political and military geography, of cartography (with a chapter about atlases) among others, covering all Republics of the U. S. S. R. The work is enriched with a comprehensive indices of authors and subjects. – In 1969 the New York based Greenwood Press published a reprint of present work.
Condition: Ex-library set from the Academy of Science of the C. S. S. R., with library stamp and numbering at title pages verso and last pages, as well as printed library labels mounted on rear sides of rear wrappers and rear covers.
