First and only edition.

Contents: Profusely illustrated and beautifully printed publication on occasion of the erection of Luigi Mainoni's terracotta monument for the salvation of Modena from the 'cholera morbus'. With a printed dedication by publisher and lithographer Pio Gustavo Goldoni for Luigi Reggianini, then Bishop of Modena, and a treatise about as well as a detailed description of the monument by Antonio Peretti, then poet of the Habsburg court of Francis IV, Duke of Modena.

Condition: Spine skilfully renewed, boards sun-stained, minor finger-stains and foxing inside, otherwise in very good condition.

Rarity, Holdings: Scarce in trade and holdings alike, no copy on the market and in ICCU as of Feb. 20th 2024.
