First Slovak edition of Charles Dickens last picaresque novel »The Life and Adventures of Martin Chuzzlewit«.

Originally published in series between 1842 and 1844 Dickens »Chuzzlewit« with present edition could finally be received by a Slovak reading audience too. This first Slovak edition had a relatively small print run of 5500 copies. It's dust jackets were designed by prominent Slovak modernist artist Ludovit Fulla.

Condition: Dust jackets with some minimal faults at edges and corners, in parts slightly time-stained and worn, paper slightly time stained, otherwise fine copy.
