Letterpress on machine paper, bound in original publisher’s red cloth with gilt title printing as well as black and blind-stamped ornamental frames at front and rear boards.
First edition of this compact Armenian-English dictionary, in a neat ornamental binding.
Contents: First edition of Zakaria Papazian’s Armenian-English dictionary. In 1910 an illustrated, hence more voluminous continuation of present dictionary was published. The dictionary probably aimed at the increasing number of educated and wealthy Armenians who were preparing to emigrate from the Ottoman Empire due to continuous discrimination and persecution.
