G., [Germany]: CATALOGUE OF NEEDLES, PINS, FISH-HOOKS & C. 12 plates with 1 tipped-on product sample, 10 tipped-on illustrated product labels as well as ca. 500, partly coloured text illustrations after ink drawings of steel needles (crochet, sail, sewing, telegraph), hair pins and fish hooks. S.l., t. and a. [ca. 1900].

28:21,5 cm°. Chromolithography, partly stencilled, relief printing, cliché and letterpress. 12 plates on glossy paper, stapled in original publisher’s  green wrappers with calligraphic and decorative black title printing.

Particularly rare and profusely illustrated trade catalogue of a German manufacturer of steel needles, pins and hooks named „A.T.G.“

Contents: The catalogue lists and depicts parts of the companies‘ product range of steel needles (crochet, sail, sewing, „talking machine needles“, i.e. telegraph needles), hair pins and fish hooks, alongside with the product labels they are marketed with („Amazon“, „Capoteras“, „Telegraph“ etc.). 10 of those trades labels, printed in bright chromolithography and in relief printing respectively, are tipped-on. Additionally 1 product sample containing of a small bag with sewing needles is also mounted. Some of the products have captions in English, French, Spanish and Portuguese (see title). 

Condition: Staples rust, cover slightly worn, else very well preserved specimen of this attractive catalogue.
