Richly illustrated survey in Georgian and Russian language about the specific Georgian ethnographic tradition of artistically made dolls. Attached is an index of plates with captions.

Condition: Dust wrapper occasionally with small tears and minor faults, in parts worn, otherwise a well preserved copy of this remarkable monograph. Despite a stated print run of 3.000 copies, hard to find in trade indeed.
