Lot of 6 units with a total of 8 vintage silver-prints containing 5 portraitures and group 3 pictures of one Austrian women (Paula Müller) and a couple (Paula & Ludwig) posing with Chinese and Japanese people. The photographs were taken between 1928 and 1932 by the by photographers G. A. Belkin, H. Fujinaga, The Photo Specialists Co. and Yung Ching based in Shenyang under Japanese occupation.

The lot in detail:

1. portraiture of a child, 10:13 cm, blind-stamped with emblem of „The Photo Specialists Co.“ and inserted in photographer's map.

2. portraiture of Paula Müller, 10:15 cm, mounted on card-board of „G. A. Belkin / Mukden“ with printed photographers's emblem and inserted in photographer's map with embossed emblem, as well as with dedication by Müller to „Familie Guseck“ dated 2nd June 1932.

3. portraiture of Paula Müller, 10:15 cm, retouched, with long dedication verso by Müller dated 2nd June 1932.

4. portraiture of „Paula & Ludwig“, 10:15 cm, mounted on card-board of „G. A. Belkin / Mukden“ with printed photographers's emblem and inserted in photographer's map with embossed emblem, with dedication dated January 1931.

5-6. 2 group pictures of „Ludwig“, „Paula“ and two more European women with 7 geishas and 10 European men at dinner in a geisha house, 20:27 cm, mounted on card-board of „H. Fujinaga“ with printed photographers's emblem and inserted in photographer's map with embossed emblem; the 2nd print with dedication verso: "In memory of a Japanese diner in a Gaisha house in Mukden in 1928. Ludwig."

Map of no. 4 time-stained, paper bag of no. 5 torn and and with small faults, margins of maps of no. 6-8 slightly torn, otherwise well preserved set.
