First Czech edition of this important novel of the French dadaist and later surrealist. Hoffmeister’s front cover design combines simple typography and reduced geometrical elements in a strikingly effective way, and also incorporates a small portrait and signature of the author.
Front cover in parts slightly bleached, edges and corners minimally worn and with two small tears, otherwise fine copy.
